Educational Programmes

Henna Asian Women’s Group provides a range of accredited educational courses in partnership with educational institutes. The program provides classroom teaching as well as users being supported with 1-2-1 sessions to help with further learning. 

Learning courses are provided by Henna throughout the year, helping many women from low socio-economic backgrounds to further their career and learning development. Henna’s Educational program helps to provide essential integrating educational services to women in the local area.

ESOL classes are designed for those whose first language is not English. We provide pre-entry classes which help women with their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Our ESOL classes use varied activities and resources to make learning interesting and relevant.

It offers formal and informal English language training to long-term UK residents who have little or no understanding of English. Our practical input really can help transform someone’s life, open doors, and contribute to community integration.
